Can you truly believe you are free and master of your own life in all things great and small, that government is here to serve you?
When Congress creates laws, they do not have to follow, who is the master and who is the servant?
When a President creates laws or ignores duly passed laws by using the power of an Executive Order, who is the master and who is the servant?
When the Supreme Court assumes powers it was never given to pass judgment on state laws, who is the master and who is the servant?
When the federal government ignores the Bill of Rights and violates them one after the other, who is the master and who is the servant?
When the IRS leads an inquisition of conservative and TEA Party groups, who is the master and who is the servant?
When the NSA violates your rights and monitors your every phone call, who is the master and who is the servant?
When the TSA does intrusive searches of everyone including old women in wheelchairs and infants, who is the master and who is the servant?
When forced to buy a product that you don’t want and fined if you don’t, who is the master and who is the servant?
When the federal government tells you what size toilet you can have or what type of light bulb you can use, who is the master and who is the servant?
How does this happen?
How did we reach this place in our time and history where we are no longer the masters of the government that we created to serve us?
How did this happen?
It was easy enough, we grew fat and lazy, the people in government told us to go about our daily lives and let them handle it.
But what was IT?
IT was everything. IT was how we would live our lives and how much freedom we would have, or more precisely how much they would let us have.
This transformation from master to servant — some would say subject or slave — did not happen in one day. That would have caused people to realize that the roles were reversed. No, it happened slowly “progressively”, each step just a little further down the road.
Little steps nothing too shocking. Step A leads to step B which was so small there was no complaint and step B led to step C but again we didn’t complain, so how can we now complain about step D.
Maybe we can complain about step D because in their arrogance and their rush to “fundamentally transform” our country, they pushed too fast; their nudge became a shove. Most people wake up from their apathy and start paying attention when they are shoved.
Those that have not been paying attention are starting to realize something is wrong and they are looking for answers. They are going back to the beginning, looking at the original blueprint the Constitution; they are reading the words of the architects Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, Adams and others that laid out the foundation.
Moreover, what did those architects say to do when the Constitution is violated and our servant becomes the master and violates our rights? Did they say to rely on “voting the bums out and elect new bums” or to rely on well-connected federal employees dressed in black robes to step in and fix the problem?
NO, THEY DID NOT!
They said Do Not Comply — NULLIFY!
It is time to remind those that want to be our Master who is the Master and who is the Servant!
